Questions, Answered
Do you ship worldwide? Yes. Every order ships insured and tracked, and typically arrives in 3–5 business days to major markets (EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, Japan) and 5–10 days elsewhere.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties? Possibly. Duties and VAT depend on your country and the declared value, and they’re the buyer’s responsibility. We declare accurately — we don’t mark parcels as gifts or undervalue them.
How are the figures packaged? Each piece ships double-boxed with custom foam cutouts. Detachable parts travel separately and seated in foam. We’ve shipped to 40+ countries; breakage is extremely rare.
What if my piece arrives damaged? Photograph the outer box before opening, then photograph the damage, and email us within 48 hours. Every shipment is insured. We repair, replace, or refund — in that order of preference.
How long until my order ships? Ready-made pieces ship within 3–5 business days of your order. Commissions are quoted individually, usually 4–8 weeks.
Is the paint durable? Will it chip? We seal every piece with a two-layer matte varnish (and gloss passes where the sculpt calls for it). With normal shelf display, the paint will outlast the plastic. Avoid direct sunlight and don’t drop it.
How do I clean my figure? A soft, dry makeup brush for dust. If you need more than that, a barely-damp microfibre — never solvents, never alcohol.
Are your figures “official” or licensed? No. Limarte pieces are hand-finished collectible artworks made by independent artists. We’re not affiliated with any studio or publisher, and we don’t claim to be. What you’re buying is the craft.
Can I commission a piece based on anything? Almost anything — characters from film, games, anime, comics, tabletop, or your own designs. We occasionally decline requests (anything hateful, exploitative, or requiring photorealistic likeness of a real living person without consent).
Do you take returns? Ready-made pieces can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they’re in original condition and packaging. Commissions are non-refundable once sculpting begins, because they’re made for you specifically. Shipping both ways on returns is the buyer’s responsibility.
What sizes do you offer? Four standards: 10cm (mini), 18cm (standard), 30cm (large), and busts. We also make dioramas — scenes, not single figures — quoted per project.
Do you offer gift wrapping or gift notes? Gift notes, yes — free, just add it at checkout. We don’t add gift wrap by default because our packaging is already presentation-grade.
